Hawkins House Print - Hawkins Moon

from 30.00

Hawkins House is one of the most despised buildings in Dublin. A product of its time no doubt but we think there is a strange and eerie kind of beauty to this modernist structure that maybe goes unnoticed.  Don't know about you but we'll miss Hawkins House when it's demolished to make way for a new development. There is a penthouse flat at the top of Hawkins House which hasn't been used since the 1970s, complete with floral wallpaper, a single bedroom and lots of empty whiskey bottles. Good times 😉

Hawkins Moon is a part of Jando's "Concrete Moon" collection. The series aims to reintroduce, recontextualize and reawaken our relationship with the so-called “architectural monstrosities” that blight the urban landscape.

Our fine art archival prints are printed on recycled archival paper using archival inks and are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our Dublin studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity.

Available in A3 (297mm x 420m) only.

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
