Phoenix Park

from 20.00

Located in the Phoenix Park (one of Europe’s largest designed urban spaces) and standing at 62 metres (203 ft) tall, The Wellington Monument in Phoenix Park is the tallest obelisk in Europe. Built to commemorate the victories of the ‘Iron Duke’ Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, who was born in either county Meath or Dublin. Each face contains bronze plaque cast from cannons captured at Waterloo. Originally planned to be located in Merrion Square, it was built in the Phoenix Park after opposition from the square's residents.

Our ‘Phoenix Park’ print is part of our  “Dublin Landmark” series, a bold and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by Ireland’s heritage, culture and architecture.

Our fine art archival prints are printed on recycled archival paper using archival inks and are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our Dublin studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity. Available in two sizes A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420m).

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
