Baltimore Beacon

from 20.00

Known to locals as Lot’s Wife after the biblical tale of a woman woman who was turned into a pillar of salt, the white beacon that guards the entrance to Cork’s Baltimore harbour is simply stunning. The Beacon has an incredibly rich history originally being built by the British government to form a series of beacons and lighthouses that are all along the Irish coast.

This print is part of our “Irish Landmark” series, a bold and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by Ireland’s heritage, culture and architecture.

Printed on archival paper using archival inks, our fine art prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our Dublin studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity. Available in two sizes A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420m).

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
