Glendalough Print - The Round Tower

from 20.00

Nestled in the middle of the forested valley in picturesque Glendalough is the Round Tower. Standing almost 33 meters tall, the tower was built almost 1000 years ago by the monks of St. Kevin’s monastery and is thought to be one of the most finely constructed and beautiful towers in Ireland.  The round tower is divided internally into 6 storeys by timber floors, connected by ladders. The conical roof had to be replaced in 1876 when it was struck by lightning.

This print is part of our “Irish Landmark” series, a bold and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by Ireland’s heritage, culture, and architecture.

Printed on archival paper using archival inks, our fine art prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime.

Designed and printed in our Dublin studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity. Available in sizes A4 (21x29cm), A3 (29x42cm), A2 (42x59cm) and A1 (59x84cm)

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope.

A3, A2 and A1 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
