The Barbican Centre

from 30.00

One of the most well known examples of Brutalist architecture in the United Kingdom and perhaps the world is the imposing Barbican Estate Building. As strange as it is to think today the building now surrounded by London’s Finance District was built on one of the most bombed areas of London during World War II. Our vivid print captures the vibrancy of the Barbican and it’s striking Lauderdale Tower. The complex is full of life and home to not only the world famous Barbican Arts Centre but the Museum of London, a library and a school. One of our favourite Brutalist gems in London, we loved bringing the building to life in our unique way.

Illustration by Jando. This Barbican print is part of a series of open edition prints which celebrate the many forms of architecture which co-exist within the London urban ecosystem.

Our fine art archival prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity.

Available A3 size only (297mm x 420m).

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
