THE GHERKIN - LONDON TOWN

from 20.00

30 St Mary Axe is fondly known the world over by its nickname The Gherkin. Easily one of the most distinctive buildings on the London Skyline the 41 storey skyscraper stands tall in the heart of historic London. During construction over 7,429 panes of glass were installed - the equivalent to three football pitches. It also contains 792 mechanised windows. The building also happens to be London’s first ecological tall building, showing that great design and respect for the environment go hand in hand.

This open edition print is part of the “London Town ” series, an architecturally inspired collection of contemporary open edition prints incorporating vivid inks and eye-catching textual elements reminiscent of vintage gig posters.

Reproductions of our original screen prints, our fine art archival prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our Dublin studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity.

Available two sizes A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420m).

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
