Welbeck Street Car Park

from 30.00

Welbeck Street car park was designed by Michael Blampied and Partners in 1971. The unique structure which features diamond-patterned facade made up from prefabricated concrete was denied listed status last year and Westminster Council has recently approved the demolition of this amazing brutalist structure to make way for a ten storey hotel. We strongly object to the demolition to this amazing building on the grounds of its staggering beauty and architectural importance to the area. Shame on Westminster Council for sanctioning it’s demolition. Illustrated in our signature style we were delighted to be able to preserve the building forever and highlight the true beauty of the structure.

Our Welbeck Street Car Park print is part of a series of open edition prints which celebrate the many forms of architecture which co-exist within the London urban ecosystem.

Our fine art archival prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Designed and printed in our studio, each print is hand signed to guarantee authenticity.

Available A3 size only (297mm x 420m).

We care deeply about the environment and use only recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All our prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

To keep your print as safe as possible, A4 prints are packaged flat in a print sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a padded envelope. A3 prints are shipped inside a kraft tube for extra protection. Upon arrival, we would recommend you take your print out of the tube as soon as possible and give it pride of place on your wall.
